On Tuesday 12th November the British Embassador to Moldova, Mr Phil Batson, invited our Divisional Leaders, Majors Graham and Hélène Carey, as well representatives from 18 other British charities (or those who have worked with UK organisations) to the Embassy building for a round-table discussion of their experiences in Moldova.
In November we had the joy of sharing a few days with Rachel-Elise and Neils-Jakob Erlingsson from 'Lifting Lives' (Norway).
The Salvation Army has recently received certificates from people who have benefited from our ministry. One was for our Mobile clinic outreach; the other one was from the Moldovan Veterans Association. The latter was presented at our Divisional Headquarters and was given in appreciation of our Humanitarian Aid and help to the war veterans of Moldova.
At the end of September, a great number of Salvation Army officers working in five different countries in Eastern Europe met in Chisinau for meetings and seminars led by special guests from Moscow and the USA. They all stayed in the capital city for three days.
